Western Royals’ Defender, Chris Cottom (Spencerport HS) has decided to be a Red Dragon and committed to SUNY Cortland on November 19, 2015 to play lacrosse.

Chris is a multi-sport student athlete who has started on the Spencerport Varsity Lacrosse team since his sophomore season where he tallied 52 takeaways in two seasons. He was selected as a first team defenseman in Monroe County Division 3 in 2015. He also plays for the Spencerport Lacrosse Club in the off-season. Chris also plays football for the Rangers in the fall.

At Cortland, Chris plans to major in biology with a concentration in medicine. Cortland is a Division III lacrosse program in the SUNY Athletic Conference.
